1 Cut two small blocks with 3cm by 2.5 cm dimension and 7mm thickness

2 Mark the position (middle of upper mirror side) where the mirror elevation mount goes und put mirror fixing tape there.

3 Pull off the tape cover (here blue) and glue one of the blocks to it.

4 Cut
a crease into the block with the utility knife. It should be big enough
to take in the cord. Make a simple overhand knot into the cord and lay
it into the crease. Fix it with staples as shown in the pic.

5 Glue
the second block onto the first one, fixing the cord and the staples.
The cord is now safely fixed to the upper end of the mirror.
